Looks like a fascinating and interesting neighborhood. I think this is compositionally perfect and the toning adds a warm appealing touch. Another excellent image.

Louise - thanks; and I think you're right, when you go back a second time something is ALWAYS different from when you saw it the first time.

Steven - suck it up, guy, you're the one who left here! JUST KIDDING!! I really know what you mean . .when I see pix from places I've been before, I wish I could return (usually only to take a few good pictures & then leave again LOL!)

John - I tried it in B&W and ya know, you might be right. It did look nice so I uploaded that version in the extras . . .thanks for the suggestion ^_^

Gary - I think you had a point too . . . the more I looked at it the more it seemed to have a pinkish hue (now I sound like George on Seinfeld LOL!) but that is the "sepia mode" direct from the camera, so I jockeyed the color a bit in channel mixer & got it a little more yellowish, sorta and reloaded it here. It may or may not look any different, but you've made me pay attn & that's a good thing. . . . plus you made me laff (sheesh!)

Love the composition and tonal.

Of course, now that I've played with it in Pshop, I see that the Ocean Key Resort is PINK. sheesh.

You definitely had a good day. I liked all of them. These sepias have a pinkish cast on my monitor. I would have been drawn to that parking lot on the left to take some verticals of that complex. Gotta be lots of interesting things on those terraces.

I like this one best, but might have liked it better in b&w.

You're making me homesick Pete!

I love all of your images for this day. I know what you mean about days when you get lots of photos. Sometimes I think about saving that one for tomorrow - luckily I haven't done that yet - I know it'd never be right again!
virginiacoastline31-Jan-2004 03:05
YES! Especially if it's low carb . . . just kidding. It's actually almost annoying, ya know . . .cuz then I'm thinkin' "now what the heck do I do TOMORROW"

all four are very nice! Can't decide which one I like best...great job today! Don't you love it when you get on a roll?

Thanks Angela . . .I knew you'd like the sepia =)

I like the composition on this one. Nice wide open space, but plenty of objects to tell a story. Nice sepia, too. -- angela :)
