Every now and then in the military we can't quite keep our decorum when we're supposed to be lined up & ready for . . whatever. This is just to show that our military do have a lighter side, occasionally ^_^

Do you think this would present better in B&W?? I'm thinking maybe I should have cropped a little closer to remove the first face . .it sort of draws my eyes out of the picture . . .

Of course one of these will be in the "extras" tomorrow

I only grunt when during heavy lifting... I was in the Navy from 1980 to 1986. Five years of that time were spent on a Submarine stationed in Norfolk. No room for grunts on a sub. We only carry so much food.

I prefer this one and I like the face in upper left corner. I actually think it 'makes' the shot. Sure, you're drawn there but then your eye goes down the line & back.

Hard to say I like them all. Ray is right. They're all unique in their own way. I'm dying to know what they were laughing about. I do like this one the best.

Hi thx for the comments on my gallery.This is all very new to me but I do love photograhy I like this shot makes you want to smile :) Maybe cropping out the guy in front would improve the focus of attention? Cheers Jeff.

The only way to improve this shot is to get rid of all those Squids! (I was stationed on a submarine out of Norfolk for 5 years.)
