Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge - Queens, NY

went to jamaica bay wildlife refuge, and was more into the birding than the photography (the place was teeming with shorebirds, but none close enough to get a good a good photo). Of the shots I did take, I wasn't really happy with any of them, though this one with the empire state building in the background seemed a little interesting.

It's amazing to have this within the city limits.

Never having been there my first thought was, "this has to be made up, Photoshop trickery." But judging from the comments I now believe it's real and I believe it's a very unique photo. Good show.

Puts a real perspective on just how tall it is. I like seeing it from this rural aspect for a change.

How neat, this is one angle I have never seen of the Empire State Building. You sure do get around don't you?
