Surprise !

We have been rather smug, we southern British Columbians, looking
at the PaDs showing the slowly retreating winter weather in the east
and in the USA - even the southern USA. We chuckled as we saw photos
of folks, from, by reputaton anyway,warmer climes, digging themselves
out of 'winter's last gasp' snow storms, as we merrily
tended out tulips, cherry blossoms and rodedendrons.

Well poetic justice has prevailed, as we awoke this morning to find our world enshrouded
with this icky white stuff covering our green lawns, our budding trees and our beautiful
flowers.

Whatever do we do now ?!

Ugh, hope we don't get more snow. But this is a beautiful shot. I love the pink of the flower with its snow blanket.

Wait for it to melt. It doesn't take long this time of year. Beautiful contrast for the flowers too. :)

Same thing happened here a few weeks ago, recovered quiet well. Very nice shot from it.. now wasn't that worth it? :)

Gorgeous image and I like the tension of the cold against the fragile flower. Beautiful contrasting colors. I hate those kind of surprises.

Wow! We have had fresh snow pretty regularly on the North Shore mountains, but nothing in built-up areas. What happened to spring!?

Q: What do we do now?
A: Go out and take photographs! :0)

Oh - great picture too! Very nice contrast between the snow and the deep re dof the flowers.
