Fisherman

Best viewed in 'original'

Fall is an important time in the Lower Stave River as chinook, chum, coho,
pink and sockye salmon return to the river to spawn. I took this on Sunday as there
were dozens of fisherman lining the river banks to take advantage of the end
of a coho salmon run . You could see the shore littered with fish that had
spawned and died but in the water channels there were uncountable salmon of the
varieties mentioned as in the photo below :

Superb!! when I clicked on "original" I could see the fishing line better and that's what really makes this photo...if you upload a photo with the longest side greater than 800 pixels then anyone looking at your photo with "large" as the default size will see a compressed version and it will make your photo look soft.
