Blue Heron on Pitt Lake

We cycled to Pitt Lake yesterday and although the weather
was mostly threatening and at times a downright downpour
the scenery was wonderful and I had my little Canon S50 along.

I edited a LIGHTER VERSION
- but I don't know if it changes the mood of the scene as remember it.

I like this one better, Cliff, although the other lighter doesn't really altogether change the mood of the pic. Great catch btw. Trust you and Ethel to go biking in the rain. :0

Wonderful atmosphere Cliff. Much better with the top cropped. I was there a couple of weeks ago when it was raining. Really like this.

Beautiful shot! However, I think the strip of sky above is distracting. You might consider cropping it out.
