May 28 2006:
Celebrating The Lord

Woking hosts a national canal festival this weekend, and an open air service of worship took place. This lady was flying the flag in celebration.

I hope to upload some photos of the event soon.

Great angle and emotion.

I love this Ray - joy, freedom, power to the people - that sort of thing.
Love how you've used the channel mixer to carry through the colour of the flag, making the person and the flag united. Also like all the space to the right - it works very well indeed. GMV.

I thought this was a late posting of May Day. ;-) Wonderful cloud backdrop. Excellent comp and POV. Very dramatic. V

An excellent abstract Ray. Great angle and framing and almost two colours.
The old lady reminds me the figures at the paintings of El Greco (Dominicos Theotokoloulos). v
