You can certainly tell that this station was built when people attached so much status and pride to the railway. The entrance hall is also fabulous and echoes this architecture. It is not until you get outside that you are confronted by the construction site facilitating the new additional tracks that are being built under this station to improve the journey between here, Brussels and Amsterdam.
