A while ago I was approached by a Frenchman asking for permission to reproduce my image of the
Concorde passing the London Eye for a cinderella his group was making. At the time I didn’t know what he was talking about, but after a bit of research realised that it was a pseudo-postage stamp type affair.

Anyway, after agreeing, I got the promised cinderella throught the post this morning in quite an ornate envelope shown here.

The cinderella illustrates the passage of a British Airways Concorde from its preparation at Heathrow Airport, its loading on to a barge at nearby Isleworth, its journey up the Thames and at its final resting place at the Museum of Flight in Scotland.

I’m quite proud to be sharing my illustration on the item alongside some well respected aviation photographers such as Tony Best and Peter Cooper.
