Edgy and mysterious! Beautiful job.

"Ling" what could that mean or be?...
Such an amasing typo on that perfect wall.
Splendid Ray, almost surreal!
AL13-Mar-2006 01:08
The lighting, the dirty wall, the railing, the red letters, the yellow road lines, the human element, ... gosh, everything gels together like a masterpiece! Simply flawless and definitely gets a much deserved vote from me :-)
Carole Stevens13-Mar-2006 00:24
Love the mysterious feel to this! Did you have to wait long for someone to walk by, you must be the king of "the waiting to walk by" shot! Lovely image!
SRW12-Mar-2006 23:50
Isn't it funny? I read it as "ding"!
Wonderful shot...!
Guest 12-Mar-2006 23:01

I love this as well - quintessential urban image, and the light/dark contrast gives it a slightly "through the keyhole" effect. Good work!
Sharon Rogers12-Mar-2006 22:14
Fabulous, love the light on the wall, infact that is a great wall.. the Ling adds to it .. then there's the figure .. v>

Surely a tribute to Martin Ling - a member of the great Swindon Town play-off final winners 1993 and now manager of Leyton Orient!
Chuck Inglefield12-Mar-2006 20:22

I was about to say the same as Adal. I thought Ling was leaving us a sign! Ah, so that's what happens when you outgrow pbase; you get a life, get married and so on...

Cool shot, by the way. :)
Roy Birger Nilsen12-Mar-2006 19:47
