Perhaps Kate is the premier songstress on the English Folk Music scene.

I got see her quite by chance whilst staying up in Leicester on my tod. I found out that my favourite folk singer was in town two hours before she performed…

And then they offered me a seat in Row A!

This is one of the best concert shots I've ever seen. You've overcome the cast of the stage lights and the flesh tones are right on. And I love the black background that leaves her isolated in the photo.

Nice one Ray. Shall we get competitive for a laugh? Everyone I see live and get pictures of, you then have to see as well:-) Kate now has at least two fans on PBase new who have captured here image!

It's a bit sad, but buying one seat usually gets you a belter.
And they let you take pictures!
