Returned back to the meadows near Newark Priory today – it is one of my favourite local spots.

The farmer’s cattle strayed a little nearer the river today and some were in quite an amorous mood..

I meant to write something the other day when I was grazing through the meta gallery but got a phone call and then didn't get back to it... anyhow, I hope you didn't sit down in anything when you made this!! :^) strange to see the cows just roaming around without being fenced. The angle on this is what makes it so interesting.

Summertime has that effect, you know...bovines can't possibly be excluded! Love this shot -- the cow in the foreground so large opening up this composition to a beautiful sky and pond...this is superb, Ray!
