Nicki and I became work colleagues 18 years ago and today she finally turned off her PC for the last time. And she won’t be turning one on at home tonight either, for all her and her family’s belongings are packed ready for a new life in New Zealand.

Nicki was one of those people who gave the office life and energy, and one who always had a story to tell. It says something about her when the Director even suggested that she perhaps do some home working for the authority, 13,000 miles away! As it happens she has found a good job in Auckland and I believe will find a better quality of life.

So Goodbye, Nic – hoping to see you in 2007!
