I know these beer taps are a bit ‘overblown’, but when I took these I was really thirsty. I have been up to London on a boiling hot day, accompanying my Dad to place his sister’s ashes in a rose garden. At 87, it was a long day for him in the heat and he just wanted to get home. On top of which, our favourite riverside ‘pub’ (well, the ship Tattershall Castle moored opposite the London Eye) was heaving and there was no way he was prepared to stand up!
So I grabbed this shot from the doorstep of a local pub in my neck of the woods – I just noticed the sun shining on the beer taps as I passed by. You know, I tend to notice things like that…
