May 21 2005:
Wisley Church

Wisley is well known, at least in England, for the Royal Horticultural Society gardens, but it also boasts this Norman church which dates from the 12th century.

It also has a pretty good pub, I may add.

Thats a great picture and the smoothness of the colours is very pleasing to the eye.

Super lighting. It almost looks foreboding. Was this taken before or after the visit to the pub? :)

lovely light and a balanced composition with the cloud cover over the steeple/spire/tower?

And I thought it was just gardens. The pub sounds good.

I notice you have been getting some great lighting lately. Is that specific goal you are working on? Even if it isn't this is superb!

Lighting is a spell.

'Wisley Church also has a pretty good pub'? Must have misunderstood something...
To me, the sun on the stucco, against the sky, is very reminiscent of some Georgia O'Keefe images. Very nice!

I'd hate to stumble out of there drunk one night and knock over a tombstone! ;^O
