May 10 2005:
In the Bunker

Today I took a long overdue visit to a Second World War Anti-Aircraft Battery in Old Woking. I saw Simon’s gallery showing this a few weeks ago and that really gave me some inspiration and ideas!

This link tells you more about the battery.

There is so much glass and unhygienic junk on the floor here, I had to be a bit careful, but I did manage some other shots for my ‘Selfishly for You’ gallery.

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized
Converted to Grayscale
Duotoned using Pantone Black 2C
Adjusted in Curves

Last year I found some ‘Lines of Telegraph and Power’

Nice shots Ray, full of expression. Tones and light are marvelous!
The natural light is the best thing to play with the camera.

Excellent images.. an interesting choice for a studio! These places are almost indestructible and I'm sure they will be with us for a long time.

Cool shot. Looks like a good spot for photos. Your expression looks uncertain.
