This guy was not campaigning particularly hard. Just walking down the street with his message and a copy of the Green Party’s magazine.

They are fielding a candidate for Guildford in the forthcoming general election, but the chances of them gaining an MP anywhere in the UK are pretty slim due to our ‘winner takes all’ electoral system. It’s interesting to note that they have a couple of UK representatives in the European Parliament, which we elect on a proportional representation basis.
