London’s Trafalgar Square is seeing more and more community and cultural events, thanks in part to London’s Mayor, Ken Livingstone.
Today it staged the Russian Winter Festival, featuring a number of acts promoting Russian culture.
I was actually quite surprised at the number of people filling the square, many of whom seem to be speaking Russian, and consequently it was quite difficult securing shots that I was happy with.
Despite that, I have compiled a little gallery HERE to give you a taste of what was on show. The festival lasted more than six hours, but I was only there for an hour or so.
