November 1 2004:
Running

Achieved the impossible today. I managed to drop my camera without picking it up off the ground – I placed it on the pavement with my camera bag. When I picked up my camera bag, it somehow caught up with the strap of my camera too. The good news is that the camera still works, but the bad news is that the battery door won’t firmly shut, so I have to press that hard to get the thing to work.
It seems that I’ll have to send it in for repair, or if I’m lucky obtain a new battery cover. I’m sure Canon will make it as expensive as possible for me.

So expect me to dust off my little Fuji and post some semi-lame photos for a while.

Anyway, my offering was a chance photo in town today as I wandered distraught, back to the car.

Photoshop:
Cropped and Resized
Duotoned with Pantone 4505C
Framed using # FFFFFF

On 1 November last year; ‘Wey in Autumn’

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/100s f/5.0 at 40.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Both my 300D and S50 are getting battered. The S50 has dents and a viewfinder that does not zoom, but the 300D is showing no signs of internal damage yet. I have the proverbial 'butter fingers', DM is visibly stressed whenever I handle his cameras!:-)
