It’s been another lovely day today with steaming hot temperatures, but lacking the glorious evening sunshine we had yesterday. So I reluctantly resorted to the garden for my photo early this evening.
I say reluctant as I’ve been unable to tackle it of late and so I have dedicated it to wildlife, and its now rather like a meadow. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it, but I do believe in not succumbing to wooden decking and such like. Even our common House Sparrow has plummeted in numbers in response to the trends set by TV gardening programmes. Another priority for me is re-establishing the lavender in the front garden – it’s still there, but has been choked by some huge weed and I need to strengthen its presence to attract more butterflies.
So here is my rose for today, using the Watercolour filter for a change.
