May 20 2004:
Another kind of Sunbeam

Ranmore, Surrey

Here’s something I didn’t expect today, a vintage car. This is a 1915 Sunbeam that according to its owner was used in the First World War as a military staff car.

NK 4008 is not rallied, but the owner prefers to use it just as a ‘car’, and it has been over to France on a number of occasions.

How did I miss this??? What a treasure to find Ray! And the tone you used gives it that old antique picture effect. This is just perfect in every way.

y'know, with chrome wheels, lowered suspension and a big engine, it could be really cool...

Good job of PSing it back in time. Neat car. I can't help but look for the Clampets in the back seat though.
