The Easter break often brings opportunities to us that aren’t available on just any weekend. And today I seized just a chance when I visited Busbridge Lakes near Godalming. I found out about this last autumn and discovered it wouldn’t be open until this month.
Its in a glorious setting, and although the birds were fairly tame, it gave me idea of how difficult it was to get a good sharp shot of a bird as they are forever twitching and turning their head.
But perhaps its quite appropriate that I should choose this Cockerel as my photo today, as the rest of my day did not go according to plan. Sorry!
You can see a few more colourful water- and wildfowl from Busbridge Lakes here.
