Adonis Blue

One of my father's cigarette cards that have somehow survived for over 70 years, this one showing the Adonis Blue butterfly. Like many butterflies, their existence in Britain was all but gone, but in recent years they have been found in Gloucestershire.

By the way, as far as I'm aware, this butterfly is no way related or connected to our current Transport Secretary, Lord Adonis...
