Very nice composition in this image. Love all those lines.

trying on a new title for this one...changing from "lost prosperity"

This image fits the theme and I like it, but it doesn't say lost prosperity to me, it says something like .... well, thats up to you. Voted for gallery.

Love this - just the perfect moment. Personally I like it centered. I think putting him at the right of the frame would of course emphasise him walking to somewhere. Putting him at the left of the frame could signify him having left something behind (e.g. his past). However, for this photo (particularly given the title), I think it illustrates that the man is lost / kinda stuck in between. Am I reading too much into it ? Nonetheless, centering the photo works v nicely for me. I would not change.

this is another one of my favorites. the cropping of this image has been debated at length in a couple other forums. so far I am defiantly leaving him dead center....sometims it's fun to say to hell with the rule of thirds and all that other photographic nonsense...but then again...those rules really do make for some interesting images. I may revisit this one.

A 3-way combo effect. Man, SUV and sparce-desolation. They all cobime to make a statement.

Also one of my favorites. I like the juxstaposition of the man and SUV (I believe that's you in there?). This more than some others really works to create an "urban melancholy" mood thanks to the subject and colors. I do believe the composition would be stronger with cropping either at the left or right so the subject isn't dead center.
