too-close

The all too familiar Langley derrick shot.
Went downtown to get some fog shots(since we will never get snow)
It was later than I usually come here(foreshadowing)
Heard the train horn and got in the middle of his track to try some cool train-a-comin'at ya shots
Apparently the trains have the go-ahead and don't have to limit their speed after a certain time.
Took a few pics of him coming and quickly realized I was here after that time and I needed to move over.
Here he came at 60 mph, blew his horn in my ear, blew my hat off,and emptied my bladder.

When you have a family(especially young kids) you start thinking what if's
What if my foot would have got caught in the track,or I tripped moving away,or something came off the train etc................

Addendum for my wife.Actually honey that new photoshop I bought can makethings appear as they are not.
I did a little magic with uuhhh.....................MOTION BLUR!!! yeah thats it,computer generated motion giving the
REALISTIC effect of danger

Well of course! That Photoshop purchase was a real bargain, and a prudent decision, and helps to make you a far more tolerant and better husband, and keeps you off of train tracks, and etc. . . :-)
