The annual Kilgore CHRISTMAS PARADE was last night.
It has become a family tradition to meet up and eat at "the Back Porch"
(the local hot spot for burgers and right down from the parade start) and attend the parade together.
Grandpa goes hours early to get a parking spot at the former Piggly Wiggly
NOW known as the Leon Dodgen Physical Plant Building
(named after my father-in-law after years of service
as the physical plant manager at Kilgore Junior College)

It's great to be in a small town and a part of VERY close family full of great people!!
(although I almost get tired of all my patients telling me how great my father-in-law is)
