WILD BILL Something

the Langley boys went to a civil war reenactment to see canons and black powder rifles horses swords, uniforms ,everything you can think of. It is a little boy wonderland (all 3 of us little boys!!)
My 7 y.o. asked which side was the american side.
I am reminded how many people lost their lives over abolishing slavery , all races.
The reality of this civil war in Iraq makes me realize how horrible a civil war here had to be.Sometimes the glamour of it (movies,festivals.etc. )Steals the real tragedy.
(whoa thats way to serious)

Heavy concept for a 7 year old, that both sides were America. The more I learn about the Civil War the more awful it becomes. You're right though.....it is romanticized isn't it? Nice work.
