2 or 3 miles north of the road. There wasn't a lot of sun on our Denali Highway drive, so we didn't get too many photos. It's a beautiful but bleak and wintry road in September (right before it closes for the season).

The plateau here is at about 3800 feet. Maclaren Summit, the highest point on the highway, is just a few miles east.
