Thunderstorms still a threat!
Saturday is turning out to be pretty active, with storms moving from the Northeast down to the Southwest. These storms have kicked up a good amount of wind, but have started to bring a significant amount of rain. On Friday, we saw the first swift water rescue of the Season. The National Weather Service reported a swift water rescue took place along the Hickiwan wash in Western Pima County. It is that time of year were low laying washes can turn into a raging river in just a few moments. If a wash is flowing, please find another way around and don't attempt to cross. You can never tell for sure how deep the water is!
The kitties are all safe inside the house watching the storm. And, of course, I want to upload more than one....More to come on tonight's storm, unless I lose my computer connection as another burst started again out there and is beating the house.
