First Bulbs of Christmas Season ~ 'tis the season for horse apples.

I'm wishing I had thought to turn this bulb
so the stem end would be visible; thinking it
would be stronger aesthetically
if the bulb was turned on end.
Here is a better shot of the
same horse apples.

Interesting color. Horse Apples huh :) I think Martha Stewart did a center piece with those before her short prison term.
