MAR 12

TORONTO AT DAWN

Well, Toronto doesn't really have three suns. But the color of the dawn sky prompted me to go out on the balcony to look at it (and yeah, photograph it). And then the sun itself started coming up, so I recomposed the image on the tripod and spend about 10 minutes periodically taking the same shot as it rose into the sky. It was only while doing this that I began to realize it was a fortunate morning to be shooting at this exact spot. Afterwards, I reviewed the images (I shot perhaps 20 frames in those ten minutes), selected three images which seemed to work with each other, and layered them together in Photoshop. And that was that -- no grand design, but just a fortunate day to be watching sunrise from our particular balcony.

Utterly amazing! You have used your camera to see a glimpse of what is in our minds-eye which is more than the eye can see by itself. Inspiring!

Explains a lot eh? All Canadian/Alien jokes aside...excellent image. The exposure must have been tough. Gets a vote.

Well are you fortunate or what? Three suns to capture! Love the contrast of the branches against the vivid shades of sky.
