9-14-11: Yes! Finally we have identified the men as father and son, William White, Sr., who married Elizabeth Johnston, and his son William Johnston White, Jr.. A big thanks goes to cousin Margaret Haffner who supplied me with an earlier image of William J. White, Jr.. It was from this photograph that I was able to make the identification :-)
