Isabella Johnston was the daughter of Robert "Red Robin" Johnston and Mary "Mae" Frances McQueen.

Restored image from an original tintype taken in Flint, MI, ca. 1874-76. This and 44 other images were recently discovered in an old family album kept by Isabella's brother Robert. She was born in Prescott Co., Ontario, Canada, on the family farm in April of 1845.
