The full moon tonight is one of the closest full moons to the earth in the last 18 years. Called "perigee" because of its closest orbit, the moon tonight is still 211,600 miles away from the earth. A Perigee moon is brighter and appears larger than normal full moons.
This is my best attempt trying to catch a nice shot of the moon tonight.
