This Great Blue Heron landed on a piece of styrofoam in the water and hung on for the ride as the wind blew him back and forth.

Saw a few birds today including the Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Herons, Green Herons, and Tri Colored Herons. Saw Great White Egrets, White Egrets, a few Snowy Egrets, Wood Ducks, Black Bellied Whistling Ducks, Moorehens, Coots, Anhingha, Cormorant, Red Shouldered Hawk, Cardinals, Grackels, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, and a few others.

Not bad for a late start and late in the season.
