Photo a Day, 14 June 2006... Unlike yesterday's photo (see yesterday's note which I just posted for more info), the pale sherbet green background on this one is truthfully what the camera captured... all that was done on this one was resize/sharpen and run my frame action I've made... I've always found the dark little stamen on the white pyracanthra blossoms fascinating... they almost look like little freckles ;)

This is an absolutely breathe-taking shot, and I agree, the dark stamen adds character to the blossom.
