03Aug05 Hostile Encounter - 4465 & 4466

Connecticut

Photo a Day, Day 126...Went out with the 100-400 today and the butterflies were out on the Black Eyed-Susans again... The main shot and the inset were taken 3 seconds apart! I have my 20D set on the setting that allows rapid shots and at times I accidently press the shutter too far/too long and it fires off extra shots... In this case I was lucky as these two butterflies attacked each other and then both flew off...

Great bokeh, especially on the other black-eyed susans.

Wonderful capture! It is sometimes wonderful to have fast reflexes.
