13May05 Cherry Blossoms

Ledyard, CT

Photo a Day, Day 45... Ok.. more Cherry Blossoms. But these are from a different tree. The ones I had posted in April were from ornamental weeping cherry trees. For some reason the ornamentals get their flowers first and then their leaves and the actual fruiting cherry tree gets its leaves and this its flowers..

I love shots like this, there's somethng about the white blossom, green leaves and blue sky that just goes together perfectly!

hmm... they should still be blooming next week when it arrives :)
It is going to take some getting used to using a real viewfinder again vice the EVF...

This is very nice and I can only imagine how it will look
