08May05 Saguaro Cactus Blossom

Photo a Day, Day 40... Haven't managed to get around to a photo today with company here today for our son's first communion and Mother's Day. This photo was supposed to be used for the Photo a Day on April 20th. I had gone around trying to find a blooming saguaro as it is the state flower of Arizona. The last day there we managed to find one but then we also found the Easter Lily Cactus blooming and its blossoms are rarer so I went with it.. My mother-in-law happens to love this photo so here it goes..
