Medicine Time

Thurs. Totally Global Challenge - "Science and/or Medicine"

Mr. Soul taking his Doxyclycline...been on antibiotics for a few months.
It is recommended geriatric rats be put on antibiotics since they all carry a bacteria that causes respiratory illness, a common cause of death.

Dec. 23, 2006 - June 16, 2009
I have sent you on a journey to a land free from pain, not because I did not love you, but because I loved you too much to force you to stay.
Necropsy revealed cancer though out chest & abdomen. Sunday started getting lethargic, appetite decreased today, tired easily, very quiet.

Wow, how readily he seemed to be taking that!
I'm so sorry you lost him...it's sad that mice and rats have such short little lives :(

Cute little rat. Very good photo and processing. I like the selective black and white treatment (and I'm usually not a fan of such).

Hope he'll be okay. He looks blind in one eye. Looks like he knows he needs to take his medicine to be okay. Cute little fella!
