Firelight....

...back at the cabin on a cool night.
Absolutely nothing...like the aroma of the wood burning inside, the lapping of the water outside while a loon calls out, goodnight.

Oh, I love this time of year, sitting by a warm fireplace snuggled up with a good book. Lovely mood.

Nothing like a rip-roaring fire to spur the imagination. A stunning capture, Carol. I can almost smell it, and feel its warmth! Time to play my Loon CD, so I can really imagine I'm there :) V~

Love the irresistible charm and ambience of the warm glow of a firelight.....
I can almost hear the sounds of the snap, crackle and pop of the soft roaring fire.

I'll be right over. Sounds like heaven.
I guess from the comments there will be
hot chocolate for 12 of us.
Do I see a fire fairy?

Now that looks warm and inviting.
I can almost taste the marshmallow's
roasting on the open fire. You always
do so well with firelight.
