Totem Pole

Figures on the pole represent the ancestry of a particular individual or family, usually each image has a story connected to it.

They are only made to tell stories, not worshiped. A story told like a poem, many things said with only a few words.

His whimsical, charitable deeds
sound a lot like somebody I know.
Perfect way to display this totem.

Many thanks to you all!!!
Linda, that is a little Kokopelli - his whimsical nature, charitable deeds, & vital spirit is prominent in Native American mysticism. I thought he might fit in with this.:-)
John, I took the original shot in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. I do enjoy seeing yours from B.C.

What a great effect - these Sketch FX images are brilliant. Any idea as to the provenance of the totem - there's a real West Coast look to it. John
