Hi Cindy!

This is a terrific image.

Amazing..the branches seem to be stretching out of the "fog", conveying quite a scary image. Vote definitely well deserved...makes me want to go right out and get that DSLR.

Exceptional effect. Very dreamy looking. The branch has a real 3d look to it that makes pop off of the screen.

BTW voted.

Now that's interesting! 68sec, so it must be water flowing - what an ethereal comp. The driftwood could be creatures trying to raise up out of the mist in a sci fi movie! The one left-middle looks almost like a brown lizard, too! Way cool.

See Why and Pic Chic - Tech notes: No neutral density filters - just darkness - wish I had some of those things! Post Work included cloning out a gazillion sensor dust specs, a high pass sharpening on the branches, and I bumped the saturation in the RAW conversion up - can't remember exactly but not off the charts or anything. Thanks everybody. Cindy

Wow! Perfect shot! Must be hard to spot for sunken logs like that!!! I wonder how many ND filters you used :)
