Yesterday I lost my glasses and couldn't find them anywhere. I looked and looked and re looked. Inside and outside, in the garage, in the basement in my truck and they were no where to be found and I had lost all hope and was getting ready to make an appointment with the optometrist when I wondered if my grand daughter might know anything. I texted my daughter to have her ask if she knew anything and the little squirt said no but my daughter said to check in the christmas tree and around the packages. Ornery little thing!

No, it's okay...it is something I need (?) to deal with...or something. I am somewhat glad someone remembers...(there are a lot of "somes," in this comment...lol

I'm looking at picking up a lens as a present for myself, but a prime concern is that it be inexpensive in case it is lost or stolen.

(of course, I guess I could get a rider on my home insurance....but I'm really not much of an insurance guy either)

That is still a bitter, bitter event to me...I drove past my robbery point last night...and I seem unable to shake these bad feelings. Stuff happens, it is cold here in CA and drug addicts and homeless abound where I parked the car. The still hound the street.

I have a certain unfondness for the homeless I see now.

Ouch -- I feel very sorry for your neighbor. I can sort of relate. As you may, or may not , recall, I broke my arm last May.
It is still healing; bone is fine, muscles are still rebuilding. At 71, things just heal more slowly.

Re ladders - that I can relate to. Likewise, stairs seem steeper and longer. I need to get back on the Madera hiking trails to see if they have changed as well.

Jim I’m discovering it’s not limited to brain cells, for some odd reason lately I’ve noticed my ladders seem to have gained some serious weight and I do mean serious. My 28 foot extension ladder is becoming a challenge to handle. Might be time to join the YMCA. This makes me think about my 70 year old neighbor, very fit and rides his $10K+ carbon fiber bike for several hours daily and spends plenty of time in the pool and gym. Over 2 weeks ago he was hit by a truck when riding his bike and just got out of the hospital yesterday with a long recovery ahead of him. Sure hope that driver has exceptional insurance well beyond state minimum since I’m sure he is going to need it. Paul

I'm not so sure that that your four year old sugar and spice and everything nice is the guilty party here that deserves to be cuffed and perp marched to the slammer!

I lose both my glasses and keys with a certain frequency...enough so now that I take special care where I place them...and I still lose them!

I suggest that you also become busy, your mind else where, you have things to accomplish...

Not remembering that your forearm swept them off the counter or the windowsill or wherever...

I suspect the real culprit is you...
