I have been on Huntington in N. LA, we stayed at the Super 8 in Alhambra during one of the trials. As far as that street and the general vicinity, I loved it and felt safe. It seriously reminded me of Overland Park Ks. Wide streets, houses and building not jammed together so tight you can't park a car in between them. If you live in that general neighborhood I can see why you like it. But if you were on the 5 or the 10, the 110, the 710 the 405 the 605 ect ect at 6:00 PM it would be a standstill. Paul
Geeze, I apologize, the clock is off 12 hours...Huntington Drive is a pretty fast 6 lane divided thoroughfare...handheld, 1/5 of a second...I am often too lazy to set up the tripod...I sometimes wonder what is wrong with me?
I was afraid that people might see me as a radar gun operator...God forbid, I may at times be a bad lad, but never THAT bad...lol
I did get some strange looks...but what the heck...and LA traffic isn't as difficult as Paul makes it out to be...;>}}
I'd like to try some second curtain flash work, (must be set at less than 1/30 sec), but I'm a bit tied up at the moment...disabled without the time to be disabled, so I trudge on dutifully...
What's the speed limit on that street? I see people leaving work blast to over 100 mph on the interstate. 80 seems enough for me (flow of traffic and all).
I have realized for some time that you are a night owl but racing home for the night at 0600 even catches me off guard a little. I like the concept tho, yes I do. Paul
