I was trying to enlist...but alas, I was told that I was age barred (ageism!!!!!!)
No, this gentleman is a former Marine officer, and proud of it.
I myself am an ex-NCO and Senior Drill Instructor...proud of it I suppose, but it was so long ago as to be in a different person.
