Once a King

Green Valley, AZ

A skeleton of a saguaro cactus on a local golf course.
I was out riding in a golf cart with my wife while she and 2 friends played golf.
I had my all purpose lens mounted.
I wished I was able to shoot this 2 hrs later in the afternoon just before sunset, and with my sharper lens.
I was able to warm it up a bit with Topaz, but it is not the same.

I am pretty effective at slicing most of my shots WELL out of bounds. PAA

This one is off the course, and not in any line with a shot to the green.
But it may have been nicked a few times in its life.

Makes me wonder how many golf balls it's eaten. PAA
