That is a good suggestion, Jim, I did try a tighter crop, especially to get rid of the triangular signs on the left...but this was shot with the 4Ti, 18~ 135MM at full extension, on a crop camera as the 4Ti is, maybe equal to 200mm, but it did not seem to work, still I will look again.

Also this is 1600iso, something I do not normally do on the 4Ti to avoid noise problems....but yes, a tighter crop of the welder might be appropriate, I will look at it again, (I still regret not finding the time to blend the two versions of my night lamppost image as you recommended a little while ago)

Oh, and I was probably parked illegally in a tiny pull out on the 101 freeway in DT Los Angeles....I didn't want a ticket so I had to jump out, get the camera out of my trunk and shoot fast before a CHP stumbled upon me.

I will try as you suggest.

Another good nighttime shot from the night expert. I am surprised by how much light there is behind the bridge. Must be all work lights.

Did you try to get a shot zooming in more on the welder? That looks like it also has potential.
