The Dirty Side

Can anyone guess what this is?

I took a couple of quick shots with my iPhone to validate the idea. Lo and behold, I preferred one of them to what I got with my camera. I shot some brackets planning to HDR them. Maybe I'll like the camera's results better then. For now, this stays.

Would you believe it's a Jeep Cherokee? I'd never noticed the NACA duct before shooting this. Dave

Not a race car or police car. Actually a vehicle one would expect to be dirty. It had just completed a 1,000-mile trip, a fair portion of it in rain. An excellent way to clean a vehicle. No dead bugs left on its windshield or headlamps.

Should I divulge its identity?

Yes, the "dirty" side is pretty clean.

I am surprised at how clean the undercarriage is...This just wrong!

Oil and grease and road tar, yes...this clean, No.

A moral failing!

Looks like possibly some stabilizing bars under there so maybe a race car of some type or even a police cruiser. I fully understand about the iPhone capturing some photos better than the DSLR, I experience it myself from time to time. Paul
