I like this one a lot - imo, best of your group.

It's easy to go iso 50, just activate the iso expansion which gives you 50 to 102800. I think it's under the 3rd menu. Then simply adjust the low iso setting in the menu to 50. I did read somewhere that the DR is compromised when using 50 iso but I've never noticed it being an issue and I always whine about lousy DSLR DR range. Paul

PS....seriously, I learn so much stuff here! Even using M as I did for this shot, I learned here.

So thanks to everyone again!

Dear Paul:

I vaguely remember this as possible....thanks for reminding me of this....Of course I don't know how to find 50iso...but just knowing it exists means I will eventually find it.

Thanks again

If that was shot with the 6D then you could have dropped the ISO to 50 (L) and gotten one more stop. Paul

Dear Paul:

I agree with you.

Sometimes you don't know how you feel about things until you post them...and even then it takes several hours to sink in as to what is acceptable and what is not. ( it is also instructive to others to admit that I do, as do we all, take some really crappy work from time to time...meaning everyday...lol)

This was hand held, actually elbow braced on a bridge railing, 1/3 sec, f22, iso100 with a polarizer in the front taking it down two more stops....it was bright here in LA!

I had the tripod in the trunk...but was too lazy to get it out, or I was rushed in that my time was running out on the meter...so I had seven minutes regardless.

With my other hand, I was zooming in during this very brief exposure.

Still, this is pretty good all things considered.

Traffic looks to be a little light this day. After viewing all three this one is by far my favorite. I enjoy it. Paul
